RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 13 August 2026
At Loun Jesterb, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing from LounJesterb.store, including your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any rights you may have under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ONLINE ORDER
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase without giving a reason.
You must notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days from the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period generally begins on the day after the final item is received.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at:
Email: help@LounJesterb.store
Website: LounJesterb.store
Your communication must clearly state that you wish to cancel your order. Please include your order number and the email address used to place the order so that we can identify your purchase.
2. RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION
After notifying us of your decision to cancel, you must send the goods back within 14 days.
Please contact help@LounJesterb.store before returning an item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Do not send a return to an address shown on the original parcel unless we have confirmed that address as the correct return address.
You are responsible for ensuring that returned goods are appropriately packaged.
We strongly recommend using a tracked or otherwise verifiable postal service and retaining your proof of postage until your return and refund have been completed.
3. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS
You may inspect and handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in a similar way to how you would inspect an item in a physical shop.
For clothing, this generally means that you may try an item on to determine its fit.
You remain responsible for the goods while they are in your possession.
If the value of the goods has been diminished as a result of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, we may be legally entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect that reduction in value.
Where reasonably applicable, returned items should therefore be:
-
unworn other than for reasonable fitting;
-
unwashed;
-
free from avoidable stains, odours or damage;
-
returned with accessories or components originally supplied with the product; and
-
appropriately packaged for return.
These requirements do not limit your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that you were informed of this responsibility as required by law.
We will provide return instructions after you contact us.
Nothing in this section applies where the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
5. REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED ONLINE ORDERS
Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund payments received from you in accordance with applicable UK law.
This includes the purchase price of the goods and, where applicable, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us.
If you selected a delivery service that was more expensive than our standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional amount attributable to that upgraded delivery service.
We may withhold the refund until:
-
we have received the goods back; or
-
you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.
Once the relevant conditions have been satisfied, the refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days as required by applicable law.
Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.
We will not charge a fee for issuing a statutory refund.
After we process a refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to make the funds visible in your account. Such processing times are outside our direct control.
6. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR NOT-AS-DESCRIBED GOODS
Your rights when a product is faulty are separate from your right to change your mind.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must meet applicable legal requirements, including being:
-
of satisfactory quality;
-
fit for their intended purpose; and
-
as described.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete or materially different from its description, please contact:
Please provide your order number and a description of the issue.
We may reasonably request photographs or other information to help us identify the problem and resolve your claim efficiently. This does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.
7. SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT FAULTY GOODS
Where goods do not conform to the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers may have a statutory short-term right to reject them.
For most goods, this right generally lasts for 30 days, beginning in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where the statutory requirements are satisfied and you validly exercise the short-term right to reject, you may be entitled to a refund.
8. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, if goods are faulty or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to request a repair or replacement.
Any repair or replacement required under UK consumer law will be provided within a reasonable time and without causing significant inconvenience to the consumer.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and the requirements of applicable law.
9. FINAL RIGHT TO REJECT OR PRICE REDUCTION
If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, impossible, unavailable within a reasonable time or would cause significant inconvenience, you may have further statutory remedies.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include:
-
a reduction in price; or
-
the final right to reject the goods and receive a refund.
Any refund or deduction will be determined in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law.
10. RETURN COSTS FOR FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS
Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract, we will handle reasonable return arrangements and costs in accordance with our obligations under UK consumer law.
Please contact us before arranging the return so that we can provide appropriate instructions.
11. EXCEPTIONS TO CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATION RIGHTS
The statutory right to cancel an online purchase does not apply to certain categories of goods and circumstances specified by law.
Depending on the product and circumstances, exceptions may include:
-
goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
-
goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where they have been unsealed after delivery;
-
sealed audio, video recordings or computer software that have been unsealed after delivery;
-
newspapers, periodicals or magazines, subject to applicable exceptions;
-
goods which, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items; and
-
other products or contracts excluded from statutory cancellation rights under applicable law.
An exception will only be applied where legally permitted.
This section does not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
12. HYGIENE-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS
Where we sell sealed products that are genuinely unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may cease after the seal has been broken where the legal requirements for that exception are satisfied.
We will not use this exception merely because an item has been tried on where UK law gives the consumer the right to reasonably inspect the product.
Your statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
13. PERSONALISED OR MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
Products made specifically to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.
This does not affect your rights if the personalised or made-to-order item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to conform to the contract.
14. EXCHANGES
Where available, we may offer an exchange for another size, colour or eligible product.
Please contact help@LounJesterb.store to determine whether an exchange is available for your order.
Offering a voluntary exchange does not replace or restrict any statutory right you may have to cancel, reject goods, request a repair or replacement, obtain a price reduction or receive a refund.
15. SALE AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
Your statutory consumer rights also apply to goods purchased during a sale or promotion.
A discounted price does not remove your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
Where an item was discounted because of a specific defect that was clearly disclosed to you before purchase, your rights in relation to that particular disclosed defect may differ in accordance with applicable law.
16. GIFTS, BUNDLES AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
If an order includes complimentary products, gifts, multi-buy items or promotional products and the entire qualifying purchase is cancelled, we may require the associated promotional items to be returned where legally permitted and appropriate.
Where only part of a promotional order is returned, any refund will be calculated in accordance with the terms of the promotion and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in a promotion will override your statutory rights.
17. REFUND METHOD
Unless otherwise agreed with you, refunds will be made to the original method of payment used for the transaction.
We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund where you have a statutory entitlement to a monetary refund.
We may voluntarily offer store credit or another resolution, but accepting such an alternative will be your choice where the law entitles you to a refund.
18. LOST RETURNS
Customers should retain proof of postage or tracking information when returning goods.
If a return appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us and provide the relevant shipping evidence so that the matter can be investigated.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or responsibilities imposed by applicable law.
19. REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE PARCELS
If a parcel is returned to us because it was refused or could not be delivered, please contact us.
Any refund, redelivery charge or other resolution will depend on the circumstances of the order and applicable UK consumer law.
We will not impose terms that unlawfully restrict your statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights.
20. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR REFUND
To request a return, cancellation, exchange or refund, contact:
Loun Jesterb Customer Support
Email: help@LounJesterb.store
Website: LounJesterb.store
Please provide:
-
your full name;
-
your order number;
-
the email address associated with the order;
-
the item(s) concerned;
-
the reason for contacting us, where relevant; and
-
photographs or supporting information where reasonably necessary for a damaged, defective or incorrect item claim.
You do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right within the applicable cancellation period.
21. STATUTORY RIGHTS
This Return & Refund Policy operates alongside your statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits or attempts to replace any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the laws applicable in the United Kingdom.
Where any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.
